I can't find the genX 1 under either categoryIt's in the list, but uninstalled and the serial number is greyed out in the listI can't find my registry key to add the serial to either the registry key list or the installed plugin list. ---The gen 2 install makes an installer and I can run that from within studio but it doesn't ask for the product key or my darkside serial number.. it wants to uninstall it which creates lots of errors.---If I uninstall gen 2x I can go back to gen X.. but it's not in my products and the serial number is now greyed out.---I don't have any of the old gen X content. It's all been convertedI don't have any of my gen 2 content either.. I've been rebuilding all my data files since Jan----The genX 1 is a Zbrush interface that was a part of the DAZ Studio 4.6.1 update.It was replaced in a later update with DAZ Studio 4.7.1 and some parts of the interface had to be removed. They attempted to restore the original look in the 4.8.2.0 update to the original DAZ Studio 4.6.1 interface that had the non-alpha part of the interface.---If anyone needs the original Gen X interface to use with 4.6.1 or 4.7.1 or 4.8.2.0 or 4.8.3.0 or 4.9.1.0 or 4.9.2.0 or 4.9.3.0 or 4.10.1.0 or 4.10.2.0 or 4.10.3.0 or 4.10.4.0 or 4.10.5.0 then they need to either get a copy of the original DAZ Studio 4.6.1 and DAZ Studio 4.7.1 or 4.8.2.0, or 4.8.

I will also try to get the serial number from that box before I install the new copy.. and I will let you know if that works or not..---ps: now I'm thinking that the.sea and.sep files are the same but I don't know if that was the original source for the genx2 install or if it was just saved in the same place as genx2. I'll let you know if I find either of those files too

Ok.. here is what I've done since I got the genx2 install.I got the serial number from the box and the installer wont let me use it because its for gen x one. So I'm going to let you know if this works or not..It's installing now..---I don't see a serial number anywhere in the plug in box even when I hit show--dimdimdimdim I think I found the problem.. I guess after I made my Genesis character..I went to the file browser and went into the genX directory.. the genx2 installer said it was going to replace the.dll and the.sea file..I checked the file tree and it had both files replaced by the installer..I went to get rid of them..----------I think it was the install that removed them both instead of just replacing one. I got the genX2 installer which left no trace of anything in the genX folder. I found the old file but couldn't copy it because it's a read only file. I'm assuming it's there somewhere in the DIM folder 827ec27edc
